Aran Island Melton Waistcoat

Inspired by the traditional waistcoats worn on the the Aran Islands it is expertly woven using traditional Melton cloth. The Aran Islanders made all their own clothing and much of it from boiled wool fabric.

Superbly tailored in the old fashioned way using 100% wool. The Melton is woven in a twill form, which gives it a felt-like smooth surface.
